Now, for the really interesting question:
If a State accepts another State's permit, it is essentially accepting a permit that is valid in another State... True?
So if my Permit is valid in Florida (and it is) and a Permit valid in Florida (a Flordia Permit) is valid in Arkansas (and it is), a Permit valid in Arkansas (an AR permit) is valid in Minnesota (it is) Why isn't my permit valid in MN?
Shouldn't "Full Faith & Credit" rules apply?
You can build a logical chain of "valid in" from wherever you are to every State in the country but the 19 (States, Territiries & "entities") that don't accept anybody's permits.
Therefore, my permit should be valid everywhere but the Commie 19.
Where am I wrong here?

True, but it is actually an argument that might hold water at the Federal (SCOTUS) level with the right attorney (like S. Holbrook for example) pushing it....

You are wrong in your "Should Be" philosophy. There's not a state or federal government that actually understands logic or common sense. Benjamin Franklin once said that common sense isn't very common. It more true today then when he said it.

True...but how many of us have enough $$$ to take it that far, realistically speaking.

Nobody. First, you would have to get arrested, with knowledge of forethought and intent to violate, then proceed to appeal.
You could probably get your 2am attorney gratis, but you would have to be out of work for a while...

Thanks for posting this. Couldn't have come at a better time- my sister and and I were just discussing whether an IN license would be legal for her at school in SC. Looks like she's out of luck on that. Might throw a wrench into any plans I might have had of taking my Contender to SC on a hog hunt next month too....

I have to completely sanitize my truck of even ammunition before travelling through the Fourth Reich (Illinois) on my way to a state that says I can't protect myself with my legal to own firearm (Wisconsin) every summer. Illinois wouldn't be bad if it weren't for Chicago, and I have no idea what Wisconsin's problem is.

Ky, Tennessee, Georgia and Florida reciprocital to Indiana. .

Wonder how long I'd have to remain a resident of KY if I moved down there to get a carry permit? Might be the quickest way to carry legally here. Still haven't received the one I applied and paid for on the 18th of October, back in Naught 6.
