Well I got a few answers that looked like you were serious, I'll say it agian I don't like these jokers any more than you guys but I feel if you don't vote you're just not taking advantage of what so many men and women sacrificed for. Part of the right to vote is the right to withhold it but more often than not it's apathy why people don't vote. My mom doesn't because she doesn't want to get called in for jury duty. I vote even though I know it rarely does any good. I figure that if I ever decide not to vote during a specific election I'll go get my ballot and put it in my pocket or tear it in half and tell the election ladies nobody's getting my vote.

I'm with Wolfhound , just because I may not have voted , or voted against your preferred candidate doesn't mean that I'm not affected by the jackass that you voted in . I couldn't vote for Carter because of my age at the time , and didn't vote at all during Clinton's first run due to a lack of a worthwhile candidate , but I suffered for their stupidity just the same . "If you don't vote you can't beotch." is a stupid sentiment , I'm just as affected by someone I didn't vote for as someone I did .

I'm still trying to decide between McCain or Mitt Romney..... I like them both. McCain might have a slight edge in my book only because of what that man endured in Vietnam. He had opportunity after opportunity to go home from the Hanoi Hilton because of who he was and refused, only to be beaten and tortured even more. He DESERVES to be President more so than anyone out there!

Has anybody ever noticed that everything the AntiFederalists said about the hazards of creating a Federal Government has come true?
Sure, it was good for a while, and helped us get through the war of 1812, but since then?
Government Uber Alles - and it's only gotten worse since.
For a really interesting read sometime, go to the Library and read the AntiFederalist arguments, and the history of the Bill of Rights.
Then for fun, read some L. Neil Smith. (who has his own utopian issues, but at least has a different, interesting perspective)
