Now that's just downright NASTY!
Are those organs I see behind the front seat?

What a mess for the detail guy to clean up. Hope the driver was OK, One thing I noticed was the air bag didn't deploy even with the front end damage. Guess the deer hit above the sensors or it was a defective system.

UNREAL!!!!!!!!!! I hit a small 6 pt. about 3 years ago with a brand new, well almost new as it only had 7,000 miles on it Chevrolet 1/2 ton truck and it done over $7,000 dollars damage to my truck, actually I traded it for another new truck at that time.I was running in excesss of 70 miles per hour on the interstate and it was about 6:30 a.m. ....let me tell you that will get your attention in a hurry. My air bag went off also and I was on the left side of the interstate passing another car at that time, actually I was along side the car and I saw the buck coming but there was nothing I could do....WHAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I frequently get teased because I'm a real slow poke on the highway , I rarely exceed the double nickle , but the one deer I've hit(so far) did no damage at all to my square fronted 76" Pontiac Ventura(Nova wannabe) . A guy I used to work with nailed a big doe with his 6 year old F-150 and did $3K to the front end . The difference ? Speed , I hit mine at around 45 , his was at 65 .

Those pics look like they came out of a Steven King movie! I didn't know a deer held that much blood! WOW! Can you imagine the blood that the driver had on them?

I'm thinking the driver ducked.
Look at the front seat, there's no outline of a person in the spatter. That said, I'm sure they didn't get out cleanly! ;D

Looking at the hole in the windshield, I don't see how they survived. Yikes!

I figured that's what the back of Woody's pick-up looks like after one of those multi state, slammer jammer, deer hunts.

As graphic as they are,I sent these photos to all my friends, and relatives to make sure they use caution when driving, especialy at night. I know these pictures will be in the back of my mind while driving through the Indiana woods.

Wow - I hit at one at ~80MPH a couple of years ago in a '96 Taurus. I hit his front legs w/ the left front corner of the car and knocked him around. He hit the driver's side door, knocked the mirror off, which shattered the driver's side window. My pregnant wife never saw it (I only saw the legs the instant before I hit him) - all she knew was she was suddenly pelted by glass and cold air. The only reason we know it was a buck was becasue we found a piece of the antler that broke off in the windshield. Luckily no one was hurt. I was on I-65 between Whiteland and Greenwood, about 7:30PM this time of year. We had only had the car about 6 months and it was to become the 'family car' - it was 6 years old and only had 50,000 mi on it. Needless to say it was totalled - no air bag deployment though, the impact wasn't enough to set it off.

I hit one on my old Harley when I was 22.... flipped me right off the bike and rolled me down the road a good 50 feet before I stopped. Luckily I was wearing my helmet and leather jacket...... came out of it with some cuts and alot of bruises and scrapes but that was all...... Bike ont he hand did not fair as well and ended up totaled..... I quit ridding after that scared me enough for me not to get back on one.
