Wear your life jacket if you transport deer by boat..
Associated Press GLASGOW, Ky. - A deer hunter fell out of a boat in which he was transporting a deer he had killed and drowned on the Barren River Reservoir in south-central Kentucky, an authority said.
Billy R. Bright, 58, of Hinkle, fell from his boat about three quarters of a mile from the Beaver Creek boat ramp sometime around noon Saturday, said Sgt. Larry Wells, with the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife.
Family members hunting with Bright reported him missing and several emergency responders searched the shoreline Saturday, Wells said. Bright's body was found Sunday afternoon, about 100 yards from where the boat was found sunk in about 15 feet of water, Wells said.
Bright's body was taken to Louisville for an autopsy.
"We don't expected that it is anything but an accidental drowning
