;D today in the corn field across from my place.the farmer was finally getting the corn out and must have went to eat lunch.i looked out in the field and saw something moving around so i got the binos and sure enough it was a tom turkey ,strolling along eating corn.big old bird too.i know alot of you guys see a bunch of them all the time ,but for around this area ,i thought it was really cool.

Did some scouting yesterday and ran across a @*^$@ yote, I'd rather it would have been a turkey.

While sitting in my blind last Sunday I watched as a good half dozen gobblers made their way across the other side of the sinkhole , at least four of them had beards that were dragging the ground .

Never saw a turkey in my life until around 5 years ago. I was driving through our woods in Steuben county and my jaw dropped as 10 or so Turkeys crossed in front of me.
Deerdude, before you know it, you will see them all the time. Good job DNR!
