Spoke with my Dad this evening who has a good friend that is in need of a gunsmith. I know of a guy or two near me (Anderson) but I thought he may be better served by someone closer to him (Crawfordsville/Montgomery County). Anyone know who I may be able to put him in contact with? I don't know exactly what kind of work he needs done other than he has a Winchester 1300 shotgun that had a piece broken and he needs it repaired/replaced before the firearms opener. Any suggestions on someone reputable would be appreciated.

I'd call Beautiful Bud's on South Boulevard and see if they know of anyone. Bal Hinch sells guns, but I don't know if they work on them. Bud's and Bal Hinch are both check stations and are in the Hunting Guide.
I know of a place near Delphi that did some work on Dad's Mauser when I broke several years ago. He did a great job repairing the stock, but I don't know if he's still there or not...
I'll ask at work today and see what I can turn up there.

Thanks Dan. My Dad knows the guys at both of those places and I don't think he was able to come up with anything from either place.

Premire Arms in Brownsburg can point him in the right direction.
