I've reserved any of the chicken-little fears that the sky is falling ever since the Colts victory over the Giants on opening night. Seems like everyone is crazed about the lack of a running attack, lack of a running defense, and the fact that we never got pressure on the younger Manning. The Giants are a good team, so I've sold myself on the idea that it was our opponent causing our woes as much as it was a lack of ability on our part.
TODAY however is a different story. As soon as I can get out of work I'm off to the Dome for today's Titanic struggle as Marty Brennaman says....and if the Colt's don't kick the tail end of Houston back to Texas (or at least kick them hard enough that they land somewhere beyond Arkansas) I too will begin to worry.
Till then, I think this team is just fine.......perhaps not a 'should have been 16-0' team, but a solid 13-3 team.
Anybody else going today???

Finally got a day off to get some things ready for deer season and watch the Colts play. Since it's half time, I thought I would check in here. Sure would like to go to a game sometime, but just can't seem to make it.

Sure would like to go to a game sometime, but just can't seem to make it. For some idiot reason they (WEVV - Evansville) decided to switch to the Miami/Buffalo game which was a pitiful game and I missed the whole last quarter of teh Colts game. The phone line was busy at the station the whole last 25 minutes. I'm sure that thay got an ear full.

I would have been pretty upset if they did that to me and probably would have made a call to the station myself. Addai looked pretty decent today, I sure hope he continues to get better.

I think they run a skeleton crew down there on the weekends Woody....probably switched automatically and their master control op didn't know how to override the system. THAT was more like the Colts I know and love........got a little sloppy when the reserves came in, but we could score whenever we wanted, and that is a good thing! 911, I forgot that it was Sat night that you went to Nashville.....glad the big show was good, and that Gundude and his girlfriend didn't cause any scenes!

Dungy didn't mention him in his post game interview as someone who got knicked up, even though he obviously was. I hope he's ok....I can't wait for Corey Simon to get back so our D-line is near full strength!

The Texans aren't much so I'm not taking a whole lot away from that game. The Giants are a good team and if they had not made the mistakes they did they probably would have won that game. I think the run defense is a legit concern; fortunately their schedule is pretty favorable so once again the playoffs will tell the tale.
