On my way to work this morning, I saw an albino doe standing close to the road. I stopped, and could see no brown on her whatsoever. She stood there a couple of minutes, and then bolted. I didn't see any other deer around. She looked to be a yearling. First one I've ever seen.

I have seen one albino deer in my life, and that was probably twenty years ago...something I'll never forget though.

Saw one last year close to where I hunt. They are [glow=red,2,300]NOT[/glow] protected in Indiana. hoosierhunter06, someone gave you some bad information. A buddy of mine killed a 5 1/2 doe last year. He had see twin doe fawns 5 years ago and have seen them every year since. Last year he finally decided to shoot one. He now has it mounted full body.

She was in a bean field about 400 yards south of John's old house in Folsomville. A "Bozo" at work told me about her. She was also shot last year.

She had a ways to go to get to us though. I haven't seen any real close to us in over ten years. The genes are probably still there though. .
