My birthday almost always falls in the first few days of turkey season and there actually have been times when I have been out in the field and suddenly realized that it is my birthday. Not too many people get to do their favorite thing on their birthday. I guess my best birthday was in 1987 the day I nailed my first gobbler. It was my 38th. Think of the alternative and they are all special. I thank the Lord every birthday for letting me have another year. My Bday does not fall in any season, but if I have been a good boy I get to do one of the things I love, and it too involves nailing  So far so good on not giving a rats butt about my birthday. I have lived through 31. I just hope I can make it to Woody's age ;D |
