Actually all of them are good sources. However I'd pick White Oak as this food source would draw Deer, Squirrel, and Wild Turkey.

Not having hunting knowledge of some of the food sources, would go with what I know works, white oak!

it all depends on what time of the year it is. my favorite is Shot Plot which is mostly red top turnips. deer feed on them until mid-January. h.h.

It depends on the time of year, early bow season I would probably pick soybeans if they were still green. Later on, I'd pick corn. But clover is pretty good all season long!

If I was hunting strictly for any deer I'd say white oaks in October. I've never had any luck seeing big bucks while hunting over the oak trees. Most of the acorns are gone when the big bucks are roaming and checking the food sources for does, so I'd say the winter oats in early November.

When they are abundant acorns, would be my choice. I've yet to hunt near White Oaks, but my newly aquired lease in KY is about 20% White Oaks. I've never seen soo many White Oak, Acorns, and Hickory in one area.

My best luck is to find winter wheat next to a good wood lot. We plant it as food plots; cheaper than all the commercial wonder foods and next spring/summer you have good bird cover and food source.

I picked other. My choice is the last corn field in an area that still has some standing corn in it. I like to see it about half picked with strips of standing corn mixed with strips of picked corn. Have had great hunts with this type of field.

No contest. In my experience, deer will leave all other food sources availiable to them in order to take advantage of the white oak acorns as soon as they start to fall. From all I've read, it's hands down their best form of sustenance.
