I am covered by my work, I have to pay for my wife and daughter. Anyone here have health insurance for other family members that is affordable? I want to find more affordable insurance to cover my wife and daughter. Thanks. Solohunter

Solohunter,
I personally have Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield, and my Mom and Brother also have it too. My Brother and I recently upped our deductable to $5,000 each as We both were paying around $300 per month for the $2,500 deductable. The $5,000 deductable will run around $200 per month. You might consider looking in to a Health Savings Account for your wife & Daughter as you're young enough. Other than that Health Insurance is High regardless where you get it from.

It would be better if you went through a local broker that sells or can suggest an Insurance Company for you. Some of these companies are "Fly-By-Night" or they "Tank" when you need their services. Better safe than sorry.

FWIW - We have Unicare for our Medicare supplement and we are well satisfied with them.
