Legal?? I guess.. Expensive? For SURE!!I had almost the same thing happen to me in 2003. I watched two deer on the right side the road and one came from the left and ran into the side of my truck. The good thing about these accidents is the insurance company fixes the vehicle with no deductible and it doesn't count on your record against you. Did you take her home with you?

Woody,
Who are you insured with?
Although my insurance company (American Family) don't count it as a chargeable accident, your/my deductable still applies. I hit one about 10 years ago, on my way to the hunting spot one mrning and it did almost $4000.00 in damage.

Shame on you. You know you are not supposed to take a deer with the aid of a motorized vehicle.
Hope you did not get busted-up.

Well I guess we can have the bow shops carry that brand, but they will hard to hang on the bow racks. I just hope they don't use 3/4 ton truck to take deer with. $45000.00 a lot for something to take a deer with. And tuning it for high speed flight, lets not go there.

Do you find it ironic that the make of vehicle is DODGE?

Chico, you know what they say....
If you can not "Dodge" it, "Ram" it.
A guy in highschool had that painted (w/spray paint) on the cab of an OLD dodge ram he was attempting to redo.

Yea it is. Bout like everything else from highschool, but it looked good spray painted on that old beater. And Chico's comment reminded me of it.

Looks like John takes an early lead in the 2006 deer harvest.

My Buddy had a brand new (76 miles on it) chevy suv when a doe jumped from a ledge into the side of it. It now sports two lower creases and a round dent where she lowered her head and folded her hoofs. His brothers girlfriend was sitting at the door the doe hit and she thought she was had. I don't think he even turned it in to the insurance.
