It is VALENTINE'S DAY! A little effort can go a long way in my short life experience. I'm doing the flowers/dinner/movie thing for the little lady tonight.
Don't have a significant other? Pop a beverage of choice and watch hunting shows...

I surprised momma this morning with flowers, a card and a big iced cookie with "My Valetine" on it.
She loved it..
But I have to ask.... why is this a "woman's holiday" where they get the goodies??

I wasn't going to do anything because I got her some really nice ear rings for Christmas and I spent to much. But she got me a card and some candy so I ordered her some flowers and some balloons. Oh but she made the date with me tonight. To go to my brother high school basketball game..... I got a good one...

I bought her a dozen roses. Got home, put them in the only vase I could find and they looked like crap in that thing. Guess there is a reason she got rid of all the small vases. Had to go back and get another dozen.

Picked up a new snow shovel and a garden rake for the little lady.
.......er, I mean, just got back from prime rib dinner. Usually get her flowers, but she said skip that this year, and we'll just go out to dinner. Suits me. Got to keep the warden happy, or life can be hard on the inmates.

I got her a dozen roses and a t-shirt that has a lady holding 2 big bass and it says as a matter of fact I do fish like a girl on it from the new bass pro down in Clarksville where I've been working all week. And I had 4 brand new tires on my jeep when I got home. (I'm driving her new toyota 4 by for the gas savings) I spend $40.... She spends $400..........I think I got a good one?.........or she's just a show off?

I got mine a 60" digital TV. She wasn't wanting one, but what a surprise ;D Woweee.. I wish I had your money. Us old retired and living on fixed income folks have to settle for a lot less. I picked this one up at Sam's on the 14th. I also bought a 50 sack of cat litter and a case of Diet Cokes. The TV is hers and the cat litter and cokes are mine.
