I am a Republican, have always been. However I simply can't support the current "crop" of Republicans now in Indianapolis. I didn't Vote for "Our Man Mitch Daniels" where he sold our roads to the highest bidder is another example of his & the Republican's blunder! As is this taking money from the "Canned Hunt" Gang. AND yes. you guys with Lifetime Hunting licenses will loose them, if you don't make your voices heard!

News to me , nobody has sent me a check yet . That would be a stupid move on his part anyway , the only possible outcome would be a class action lawsuit of very large proportions , and Mitch would very likely lose that one . It would be simpler to regain the declining revenues through other means such as a small increase in a tax or fee , and a lot easier idea to sell . BTW , I didn't see Mitch mentioned in the story that you linked to other than the fact that the deer procurers donated to his campaign . So did a lot of other special interests . The real enemy , and the only ones who can actually "legitimize" the killing zoos , is the bought and paid for Legislators like Rep. Friend and the other bottom feeders in the gang . If you want to be mad at somebody then go after them when reelection time comes up , the Governor cannot make laws , he can only sign into law the things that the Legislature sends up to him . He can also decline to sign them if enough of us tell him that it would not be in his best interest if he wants to have any hope of getting reelected himself .

I'd actually like to see a small increase in taxes that went specifically to the DNR. The state parks need attention. We used to have the best state park system in the nation. Now understaffed, and under payed is the status of all DNR personnel.

I din't get a check either. I really don't think they are going to return the money.
Nobody is going to lose their LTL.

The LTLs are going nowhere.
They are yours till you die.
The article is old. Mitch retrurned that campaign money.
My guess is that the IDNR director ran this whole thing by Mitch before he issued his order. Mitch will not hang his political appointee out to dry no matter what the legislature does.

there is sure a rumor mill for lifetime licenses! This false rumor gets started about every six months. the key word in lifetime license is lifetime.
