I was just curious as to why I receive the following message when I log on to www.hoosierhunting.com : CGI Error
The specified CGI application misbehaved by not returning a complete set of HTTP headers. The headers it did return are:
Can't open perl script "D:\hshome\inidha19\hoosierhunting.com\cgi-bin\ultimatebb.cgi": Permission deniedI know I've been banned, over there but I still like to read the posts, and what other say about their hunting. As to being banned over there I still don't know why this came about. |

I get the same thing and I do not think I have been banned. I thought it was just some kind of glitch.

I've never seen a "Glitch" such as that over there. Maybe they just "tanked" or they decided not to continue with a hunting forum. Anyway this one here is MUCH BETTER......BY FAR!

I have been having troubles over there for the last week or two. I get that message and lately have been able to only get partial threads before an error would stop loading the site.
I just figured it was a glitch and I think their guru has been through some rough times due to the last tornado.
I was wondering if anyone else was having troubles there too. Glad to know it wasn't just me.

They are having trouble with the site Dawn has not had a computer due to the Tornado so i dont think she has had a chance to get all of the glitches fixed Deerslayer is doing everything he can to keep it up. Patience it will be back.

I got in touch with Joe today, and am working with him to get things back on-line... they've got some sort of CGI script bug with the message forum that was causing problems for the provider's server, so the provider has locked out the script directory.
Dawn's computer got picked up and dumped by the tornado (along with the rest of her house), so she's without a system at present.
We'll get things going shortly, and will post here once things are running again...
The more sites, the better... as Red Green says, "We're all in this together..."

I really don't know why I was banned from "HH". I guess they just don't like me over there or any of my imputs or ideas, into the sport of hunting.  |

Correct, we have some sort of script problem, not sure if its from a user infecting us or a bug uploaded or what. The site is being worked on at this time and once we figure out the problem, it will be up and running. Lots of sites have problems at times, no matter what the cause, guess it was just HH,s time. Thanks for the patience...
drs knows why he was banned, i,ll just let it go at that. There is no need to air dirty laundry. I like both sites, altho I administer at one of them.

Ditto Slayer...... but the real thing I would like to point out in this thread was the MENTION of the RED GREEN SHOW!!!!!>> Possibly the most intellectually stimulating show to ever grace the the TV screen for 30 minutes a week in the last 30 years......... I have all of it on DVD from 2004 and back...
I cant watch it now as I got mad at the cable company and yanked their line from the pole and then I .................. well anyway now I am on Satellite and really miss the show. If anyone knows how I can get it, please let me know.........

Gundude: You can get it off the air. My Dad is on satellite and he watches it...it's almost like a religious thing with him.
BTW: I think I have some training coming up in Bloomington in a couple of weeks. Any chance I can drop of my 1187 to get the trigger work done.
Also, if you do bluing can I drop off my 1100? If you dont can you recommend someone that you would trust?

Joe's hosting provider went semi-awol and I finally got through to them to resolve the problems...
