I heard there was serious hunting accident in Clark county recently. This came from a woman at work whose brother is a ICO. Apparently a teen was shot in the face while pulling a loaded gun into his stand. He did live and was in serious condition. That's all the details I know. Anyone see this in the paper? My prayers that boy and his family.

Hope the young hunter recovers from his mishap. One should NEVER carry a loaded weapon up a tree stand, as they are an accident waiting to happen. A friend of mine Son was killed by carring a loaded shotgun up in a tree stand several years ago.

My prayers to the boy and family....but damn people, use your heads for something other than a hat rack! Pulling a loaded weapon up into a tree? No excuse for that IMO
