Noticed a leak in one of my floorboard radiators so I called a plumber to come take a look at it. They got a guy there in a few hours and he got to work. He wasn't the chatty type and that was fine with me. I just wanted the leak fixed and had other things going on. He was in and out of the basement several times and around lunch I hadn't heard him for a noticable about of time. I asked my wife if she knew if he was in the basement or in his truck. She thought he was in the basement. We finished lunch and Igot up to get the phone, after that I figured I go down and see if everything was going alright. He wasn't in the corner working so I did a quick glance around and saw him laying on the floor. I thought the dude was DEAD, I got next to him and hollered at him a few times then ran up and got the phone. My wife ran down there to see what was going on and noticed his chest was moving. I called the owner to make sure his worker wasn't suffering from some sort of medical condition. As I was talking to him the dude woke up. Needless to say I was pretty freaked out by the whole ordeal and so was my wife. We both initially thought he was dead. I don't know what happened but I think he passed otu a second time before he left. He never came back but the owner had to come out and finish the job.
Scared the crap out of me, thought it was a pretty funny story.

Possibly epileptic (spelling?)....the first time you see that its a little strange. One of the guys I grew up with was epileptic , that's what the plumber sounds like , you just can't wake them up until the "spell" passes . Bill would sometimes get a glassy look in his eyes and then suddenly sit down , it was pretty strange to watch .

That is what I thought as well. I too grew up with a kid that had those and a few others in my school would have them from time to time. Really took it out of them and quite an experience to be around. I know I didn't handle the situation very well but I really thought he was dead, should have called 911 right away and let them deal with it, he could have got himself in more trouble by leaving but he was pretty coherent after he did wake up, not like the other people I have been around. Strange to say the least. I am just glad he didn't die in my basement!!!!

Plumbers always have a good sence of humor. Tell these guys the two rules of plumbing.
