Thats fine, thank you. Just should be written a little different I believe. I'm not here to promote disrespect, but Hunter Unity. we are all together as hunters. No matter the weapon.

Gundude & 911, As I understand the rules here, the Crossbow forum is for sharing information and tips about crossbow hunting. It is NOT a place for debating the legalization of the crossbow. Any crossbow debates should take place in the "Campfire" forum, as I understand it. Since you fellas don't have any interest in crossbows, I can only assume that you did not look at the rules that are posted on the "Home Page" under "Crossbows". As a courtesy, I DID put the word "Crossbow" in the title of the threads you are refering to. I did this so folks who have no interest in them can easily skip over them, and not waste their time. Crossbows are a hot topic in just about every state in the country....as evidenced by the posts I have made. It's not just a "Camby thing"...lol as some would like to believe

John i really dont have an opinion either way.l I dont have alot of hunting pressure in my area so the crossbow does not affect me at all. And dont tell me im a hunter against hunters if you read some of my posts in the past you will see that i dont state my opinion on to many controversial topics except high fenced hunting. So i suggest you keep your thought about me to yourself.
My problem is with the Camby i dont know where you are from but his crap has been getting old for a long time.

As far as the crossbow stuff.......It won't go away even if I do. I make no bones about it, I am a strong supporter of THAT weapons expansion.....it's just the right thing to do.
Some of this crossbow stuff my seem old to you, but this site picks up new folks everyday, it may be new news to them!

For the record...
I don't believe we have any "hunters against hunters" on here.
We just have a difference of opinions on what should and should not be allowed for hunting in a certain time period.
Now..
Those opinions are debatable and this forum - "The Campfire" - is the place to debate such things.
It is a tough call sometimes by the moderators and myself when a certain post goes from informational to debatable. we have sen soem informational posts in the crossbow section turn into a debate about crossbow legalization and I have moved those threads to The Campfire.
Three subjects on here draws lightning and those are the OBR, crossbow legalization and Ted Nugent. Whenever we see a subject title with any of these in it our ears perk up and we try and watch them very carefully.
I haven't read all the threads yet as I just got in from a late lunch after church. But I will.
If I see something that should be in the crossbow section, I'll move it.

I've read the two "crossbow threads" in The Campfire" about Illinois and Kentucky.
Both deal with the legalization of crossbows in those particular states and I see that as HIGHLY debateable. At least from past experiences with the subject.
If anyone sees something they don't care to read or if they dont want to read anything by a certain poster, by all means don't open it.

Not here to start problems guys. What I read was how I understood it. I am all for any and all types of hunting weapons. Don't push or fight against any type. Ask about all, and am genuinely interested in the workings and stats of each. Not the why should one be better than the other arguments. The statement hit me wrong, and I'm not trying to induce argument. As most will tell you , I am quite neutral. I should also have thuoght a little longer before I posted.
