Well took my son and his buddy hunting at our favorite spot Saturday. Had plenty of birds working us, also had a party that decided to hail call every time we had birds locked up. Ended up with three green wing and one mallard. Very disappointing compared to most early hunts.

Good for you taking them! My ponds are still pretty much dry and definitely duck-less.

I just hope it’s better than last year. That was tough. But there’s always Illinois snow goose season.
