Heading out soon for a duck sit. Only my nephew can go this morning, tomorrow we add 2 more. Nice that this morning we can shoot first and ask questions later without worrying whether it was teal.

Well that terrible. We only saw 5 birds, and they had no interest in our pond. There were birds here last weekend, it’s at my house so easy to check. Didn’t hear any other shooting either. Tomorrow is a different spot, can’t be any worse.

 Same as yesterday. Don’t have an answer for this. Last year we had probably 75-100 birds zipping around this place. There’s about 5-6 ponds here, don’t think there’s birds on any of it. Water is low, but there’s still water. |

 Managed to get 1 goose. No ducks flying at all. My nephew shot the goose and it landed near some pines so we had to run it down. It was a wild goose chase. |
