With yet another great trip aboard the "IN THE BOX".
Thursday morning we left the dock in the dark with little or no wind, clear skies and an empty cooler.
Even though there was no wind there were some very roly-poly waves that made things a bit bumpy for the first 2 hours or so.
We started setting lines at 140' or about 8 miles off shore which took us about 30 mins to reach at about 3/4 throttle.
The morning started slow and ran in spurts with hits coming 1-2 at a time.
We ended the day with 14 Lake Trout after some long hard fought battles.
After the last photo was taken and the last fish was cleaned we enjoyed a few beers and some APPLE-SHINE which was made by our fellow fisherman Drew.
I can't impress how much we enjoy these trips so until next year I say...STAY HUNGRY MY FRIENDS.
