I have been thinking about getting a new 45. I already have 3 1911s so something different without busting the bank.

I usually check out Hickock45 as he seems to always have done reviews on more guns than the other youtubers.

The navy could land jets on that slide top. They need the extra metal as it is a blowback action.

I've been pretty securely in the Colt 1911camp for decades, but that aside, I REALLY LOVE this FN 545 Tactical. Been carrying it as my EDC for a month or so now. It is sweet, slick, smooth, accurate with every version of ammo I own or have loaded. Load it on Sunday and shoot out a gun battle every day of the week with enough left to whoop it up in town all weekend.
