What variety do they normally carry? Chinese, Dunstan, or some other,
I wouldn’t mind picking up a few.

I don’t know what a good price is, but Whitetail Hill tree nursery has hybrid chestnuts, 1 year old, for $22 each. If you spend $200 you get free shipping.

The chestnut trees have arrived. I bought 4 & 2 persimmons trees . The 4 chestnut trees I got were in 7 gallon pots & are 7-9 foot tall , persimmon trees were in 3 gallon pots & 4-5 foot tall .
