So here’s a question. I haven’t bought a state waterfowl stamp for years, I have an LTL for about 30 years. I have a son and a nephew that are both 15, all 3 of us get a federal stamp, but I’ve never gotten a state stamp for them. We all 3 get our HIP numbers too. Do I need state stamps for these 2 kids? Never thought I did but now I’m wondering. Maybe this should be in the “ask the CO” thread. Took me a while to find it, but this should clear it up. Looks like you’re good until they turn 16. You’ve actually been donating their federal stamp money up until now, so good on you.  |

Exactly what I needed to know, thanks Dave! I don't think I will be buying them federal stamps this year, not feeling quite as generous now that I've read that.
