A few weeks ago my grandson and I were at the range shooting our 22's. While my grandson was shooting his SA-22 it started not ejecting properly, as I was trying to clear and make safe the charging slide would not function. Upon closer observance I noticed the barrel lock button was in the unlocked position, then I noticed the ball for the detent on the lock button was missing as well. once I got the barrel off, we found the reason for the bolt not to function. Don't know exactly how what looks like a premature strike happened, but will have to investigate that upon getting some parts and back together. Is there another spring that goes into the barrel lock ? Any advise will be appreciated. Where would be the best place to look for parts ? Thanks in advance.

Numrich, old arms of Idaho, several others that sell parted out guns if it is a Belgium made rifle. I always go to Numrich/Gunparts Corp first as they have schematics of almost every gun.
If it is new production reach out to Browning and maybe for the older ones too. Also Midwest Gun Parts.
Another source is eBay. I have had good luck with a seller named DRWinchester.
Good luck.

That model is notorious for jamming. My buddy was over with his recently and it was giving him fits.
I've heard it has to do with the way that barrel and forestock come apart from the action. Was told you can adjust the tolerances there and that typically solves the issue?
