Lake Monroe hosts "Alive in the Wild"
Get "up close and personal" with snakes, turtles, and majestic birds of prey on Saturday, August 20 at the Lake Monroe Interpretive Center in the Paynetown State Recreation Area at Lake Monroe.
The full-day begins with the snake presentation at 10 a.m. followed by raptors at 2 p.m. Turtles will be in the spotlight at 4 p.m., and the day will wrap up with a session on the bats of Indiana at 7 p.m.
All programs are free, but regular gate fees apply ($4 per vehicle for Indiana residents; $5 for out-of-state vehicles). Annual entrance passes to Indiana State Parks and Reservoirs are always honored.
For more information, contact the Lake Monroe Interpretive Center at 812-837-9967.
