With Thompsons in high demand I traded in my Pro Hunter for a Remington 700 SPS in 6.5, topped it with a Votex Crossfire 2, a couple boxes of brake in ammo, and still pocketed $100. Looking forward to getting the barrel broke in this summer sometime.

Didn't know Thompsons were in high demand? My muzzle loader is a TC and I've always thought they were a rather poorly designed rifle.
Would much rather shoot a Rem 700.

When T/c went out of business their side lock muzzleloaders went up in price a lot. The little Senaca and Cherokee, White Mountian guns are quite valuable. Their Hawkins rifles will bring good cash also. Now that they are returning to business, I'm betting their side lock guns will still be on low priority to being produced.

Im keeping my old sidelock Renegade, I've had it since I was 13. Never know when I will want to let the smoke roll. I had a sure shot nipple installed that takes pistol primers. Barrel is still in awesome shape, always took it off and gave it a hot water swabbing, followed up by a coat of borebutter. Took a lot of deer with that rifle and patched .490 round balls.

I “had” a couple Thompsons. 50 caliber Hawken and an Omega.
Woodmaster has them now.

Had a little time today. I went and ran two boxes of ammo through the new gun for break in. Last 3 shot groups at 100 off of truck hood without bags.
