Had this one come through a couple days ago. Almost a twin to last years harvest except this one’s a 8 point, last year a ten. Unless I’m seeing things that looks like it’s got 5 on his right beam. 9 pointer.

Morning guys, Been out of touch due to a computer malfunction and a bike trip to Maggie Valley, NC. Computer back up and going so wanted to post this for your thoughts. Have several pictures of this guyat night. Looks like something growing out of his jaw. Hoping to get better pictures during the daylight.

Well I first thought that as well and it might be but every picture has it sticking out of its mouth. The one pic was the first daylight so maybe he'll be back.

I’ve seen deer before that for some reason or another their tongue stuck out like that. Didn’t seem to hinder them in any ways.

Unless I’m seeing things that looks like it’s got 5 on his right beam. 9 pointer. You’re probably right. I just looked at him with my tiny phone screen. I hope he’s bigger. Thing is, I probably won’t hunt this woods this season. I’ve got my honey hole in vanderburgh county where the big ones are.

The first picture I got on cam of this buck was back in 2020 in which I’m guessing him to be at least 2.5 yrs old. Fast forward to 2024 (6.5 yrs old?) where he’s still carrying almost the same rack with more mass. I’ve had tons of pictures of him in ‘21, ‘22, ‘23 and now ‘24. He’s an old brute that I would love to harvest!

Minus the velvet, he doesn't seem to have a lot of mass. Am I incorrect?

Minus the velvet, he doesn't seem to have a lot of mass. Am I incorrect? The color pics have velvet dried up and expect shedding to begin very soon. ( Average mass. ) Am guessing a 160 class gross buck won't net well if into score.
