As some you may remember a took a deer for the first time last year with a crossbow. Used my buddies to give me an extra week of hunting and it turned out great. After some thought I took the dive and piece the same setup through work. It came last night and I'm going to open her up when I get back from the shop this afternoon. I guess I finally have a dog in the "crossbows shouldn't be allowed in archery season" fight 😉

She is a Centerpoint Amped 425 and I'll be shooting 125 gr Shwackers.

I have the same as a back up bow for my Swat-X1 crossbow. It is a tack driver. I used it last season to fill my buck tag when I had a partial dry fire with my Swat and broke the string and bent the cams. I use 100 grain Slick Tricks with my Center Point. For the money the Center Point bows are hard to beat.

Been shooting this guy with both the supplied bolts and some Eastons using the 100gr field points (schwackers are 100gr). Doing really well. I'll probably replace the scope for next year...we'll see.
