Guys, I have convinced my son and grandson to join me on a "hog hunt" this coming spring. After reviewing several outfits it still appears to be a Crap Shoot as to who will provide an honest hunt. We're not interested in the type hunt that brings a hog out of the barn and releases it in the corral to be shot. And others appear to be more interested in cashing your check than providing a real hunt experience with a chance of seeing a trophy.
I am hoping that any of you who have been on a hunt that you truly enjoyed and would recommend the outfitter advise me to look at them. On the other side of the coin, any hunts that did not live up to your expectations are worthwhile hearing about too. Our interest is in a state within driving distance, Arkansas, Missouri, Tennessee, North Georgia, etc. Any advise, good or bad is appreciated. Thanks so much. BOB

BOB I've been here 3-4 times. www.worldclassoutdoors.com/hunting-guides/loshbough-hunting-lodge/Spot and stalk by yourself, sit in a blind, have the guides let the dogs loose and chase the dogs. It's up to you how you hunt. You have to cook for yourself or have it catered in, but I didn't want a place that all you did was walk in and they took care of everything. They have a processor that they use, they drop off your hog for you and you pick it up the next day, or you cut it up yourself.

I've been to Alabama multiple times with Outfitter Lee Sells near Eufaula. You can find him on line.
Nothing fancy, but we always got hogs. Typically just sit stands near feeders last several hours of daylight till a bit after dark. Need to have a light set up on your rifle for shooting after dark.
Stayed in a simple trailer, did our own cooking, etc.
