I received a corporate award and my wife and I decided we would use the most of it for this air fryer. www.nuwavenow.com/products/brio-15-5-qt-air-fryer(remaining hundred dollars toward a Cabela’s card, yet to be spent) We’ve never used an air fryer, so this will be something new to us. Those that have experience, what are your thoughts?

We have the basket type and we use it all the time. It's great for heating up food also. It doesn't get soggy like in a microwave. We make biscuits, cinnamon rolls, chicken, fries, etc. We hardly ever use our oven.
When I was going through my divorce my ex was going through the house naming stuff she wanted to take. About the only thing I told her she wasn't touching was the air fryer!

We've got one and have rarely used it. Just more unnecessary kitchen gadgetry in my opinion. I'm not big on microwaves or dishwashers either so consider that before taking my advice. ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png)

They are great and will probably become a staple once you start using it. It’s good for lots of things. I like it because I can put totally frozen wings in there and they still come out crispy and are done quick. Usually things are done in an air fryer before the regular oven would even be preheated.

They are a game changer for sure…. Be careful on the air discharge area don't get it too close to the wall!

Other than our grill , we use this the most . Air fried just about everything once seafood, chicken wings & pork chops . Steak is still done on the grill here . One tip I can give you is using foil or the heat paper to cook on as clean up is ALOT easier this way . Reheats left overs very well. Good luck 👍🏻

Some of you will recall back in July 2018 my dear wife was hospitalized for over six weeks. On discharge I told her I'd take care of the cooking when she got home.. I meant for like a few weeks. Its been a long few weeks. IOW - I'm still the head cook of the household..
About that time I bought our first Ninja Air Fryer. Love at first sight! After a couple years I upgraded to a dual basket so I could cook veggies and meat at the same time. I can cook two items at two different temperatures and times and set it to be done at the same time. Game changer..
I learned early on it cooked a LOT faster than my stove/oven. Plus by the time my oven heated up the meal would be done in the Air Fryer. I learned to take a peak often and shake the basket often if I'm cooking stuff that needs shaking. You can always cook it more, but you can not uncook anything. Unless a recipe is made specifically for an air fryer I totally disregard the time allotted to cook, even then the time is "suggestion" to me. A digital meat thermometer is a must have.
The only time I use the stove is to warm baked beans or green beans or steam broccoli. Oven? Store bought take and bake pizza is about all. The left over pizza heated back up the air fryer is a LOT better than the day before. Of course its only two pieces at a time. No more than a minute to get it hot AND crispy. Nuking it in a microwave might be quicker but the results are way different. Crispy versus soggy/limp.
I have zero problems cleaning the Ninja. The basket is ceramic coated and washes as easily as any pot or pan. I've never used foil or parchment paper. To me that is lowering the efficiency by preventing air to circulate under the item being cooked. I used to put a piece of bread under the crisper plate to catch grease from burgers, but I quit doing that too.
Air Fryers are so GREAT I'm sure Biden will want to ban them..

Once I started using parchment paper I’ve never turned back. Clean up is much easier and if I didn’t use it water would pour out of the thing all over the counter with frozen wings in it. We have a mesh tray that slides into ours, kinda like an oven rack, so all the mess falls straight down to the burner and out the door if there’s to much if we didn’t use it.

We have the instapot/air fryer combo and use it several times a week. Diced potatoes, wings, fish (breaded and not) and chicken tenders are the main foods I used it for to cook. I'm a wing snob and have absolutely no problem with the results the air fryer gives me. My wife has salmon at least once a week and says the air fryer makes it better than the grill or oven.
In my opinion, the best feature is how well it reheats foods that would otherwise be soggy if the microwave is used. It reheats fries and breaded fish perfectly.

2nd only to the grill/smoker. Since microwaves are not good for you the air fryer replace 80% usage of the microwave.

I got in from this weeks jobs today. Hopped on the Ariens and mowed. Then my wife called from my grandsons golf tournament to say they would be late getting home. And she had no idea what to do for dinner. So I looked in the freezer and found some salmon fillets. She couldn't remember where she bought them. I said, Well it's high time we try this air fryer. Dinner's on me! I made some orange merinade concoction and then topped the fillets with orange slices. Watched a few more videos. Read a bit more in the books that came with the air fryer. I guessed at the temp and time and it worked out to an internal temp of 152 degrees. And Walah!! The salmon turned out awesome! I think I'm really gonna like this thing. I know that I really like the probe. ![](https://i.imgur.com/Y5yRU9U.jpg)

One of the best things since sliced bread, we use our's for about everything as well...and like stated by so many above, great for reheating...SF Woody

Use it several time a day.
Couldn’t live without one at this point.
