I’m thinking on planting some to breakup some larger clover plots so it will help cover me walking to my stands & blinds . Has this worked out well for anyone? How often do you need to replant? Looking at North American whitetails 8’to 9’ tall blend to try .

I've used Egyptian wheat for screening. It's an annual and worked out pretty good. I simply tilled a strip with my rotary tiller on back of tractor, seeded the disturbed soil per supplier instructions, packed it in then let it grow. Being a grass, it requires lots of nitrogen, so a couple applications of pelletized urea through the course of the growing season and some timely rains, and that stuff got 10' tall.
Switch grass doesn't get quite as tall and may take several years to get a decent tall stand of it, however you don't have to replant, better to burn it off every couple years.
