What is the preferred bead of you other waterfowlers? Why? What are the pros and cons of each?
Just trying to gather more info so I can go out this fall with the best information and chances to succeed.
I've checked the ol Google but, it's difficult finding authentic info without finding someone trying to promote a brand. And, as we know, they primarily promote what they're given for free, not necessarily what's best.
Thanks, Brandon.

Bead? You mean to tell me there’s a bead on the end of your barrel? , never noticed that. If birds are flying down, your beads could be flashing and you won’t notice. Then again, maybe that’s why I do so much missing.

Your eye CANNOT focus on something 28" away and something 15-40 yards away at the same time. The shotgun should be an extension of your hand, you use your finger to point at something and you are spot on if you sight down your finger, correct? The shotgun needs to be the same way. For a right handed shooter.......... Higher comb raises the point of impact. Comb further to the right (cast off) moves the point of impact to the right. When Dee Woolem fitted my shotgun to me, he took the bead off the barrel. he moved the comb around until I could hit an aspirin with a .38 cal rubber bullet shot out of the shotgun barrel (using an insert that he machined) propelled by a .209 shotgun primer at about 20 feet.
