Hey everyone, I found some remains from some sort of water creature. Was wondering if anyone could give some insight. I was looking for mushrooms in a swampy area off a tributary of the Kankakee river and found this. The head is approximately 4.5” wide. I’m guessing it was a big bowfin, but I am no fish ID expert. Thanks.
