Yesterday I hunted my food plot for turkeys. About noon I had three jakes come in and feed around my decoys. Right in front of my Reveal X Trail Camera. See picture I took from the blind.. the trail camera is next the bushes.  The Reveal took zero pictures, even though they hung around for about 15 minutes. When I quit hunting a couple hours later and went to pull my decoys it took my picture.  The jakes walked right past another camera and zero pictures on it. I’m not impressed… |

You may have it pointed too high and the jakes walked under the sweet spot where it senses to take a picture.

That's a good possibility. I said that because to me that's a lot of blue sky in the picture.

Walked into my food plot blind. Walked past my reveal Generation 1 camera that’s by my rubbing pole. It took my picture.
I set up my decoys in front of the blind AND the Reveal X camera - zero pictures .😡
That camera sent me a “check in picture” at 11:57 today

The Reveal X didnt even take my picture pulling my decoys. Much more of this and I'll deactivate it and pull it.

The Reveal X didnt even take my picture pulling my decoys. Much more of this and I'll deactivate it and pull it. Woody send Reveal a txt through FB and have them check the camera, they have helped me out a couple times on mine. |

Mine get pics of the dang rabbits and squirrels. One started taking random pics between 1100 and 1600, like 15 or so. I cut every higher bushy thing that may be in the path. Seemed to have worked. My only complaint so far is the actual picture quality. Hope they can get them figured out...SF Woody

I think they’re trying to make everyone get the HD pics. Quality is definitely poor now when you try to zoom in.

I switch from spypoint to tactacam due to horrible cs from sp. Tc images are horrible. I have issues navigating to options.
I am close to ditching the reveal. Not a fan

I think they’re trying to make everyone get the HD pics. Quality is definitely poor now when you try to zoom in. That may be true but for $.10 at pic @ $5.00 for 50 its not to bad. Personally, I don't need to count the hairs to see what I need to see…. |

Tactacam called me due to a survey I left. They said a firmware update was released to improve picture quality. They sent it to me via email. May want to check with that. I have not loaded it yet so not sure if it works
