I started using hiking sticks this year. They really help me keeping my balance and I find it a lot easier to walk..especially in the woods.
The problem that they raise is keeping my rifle or crossbow shouldered. Before I kept my right hand on the sling to keep it from moving off my shoulder as I walked in or out to my stand. I can’t do that now as my hands are on my sticks.
There are some slings that go over your shoulder and has a strap across the chest. holding the sling in place Anyone know a good brand?

I ended up putting one of my extra slings on the gun doubling up.
It worked pretty decent.
I do love my hiking sticks! They help a lot in walking.

Put it on my 870 and it works great.
I can walk with the gun slung and my hands free to use my hiking sticks now.
The direct page takes one to the page I ordered it and that not good.
