DNR’s reserved draw system is now accepting applications for spring turkey hunts through March 17. We offer opportunities for a variety of properties, including private lands, DNR public lands, and federal properties, as well as a youth turkey hunt.
Keep these tips in mind to ensure a successful application submission:
- You must possess a hunting license that is valid for the hunt for which you are applying.
- Although there is no fee to enter, you must add the draw to your cart, check out, and place your order. Make sure to submit your application to be entered into a draw.
To sign up, find property fact sheets, look through past application numbers and draw results, or read through frequently asked questions, please visit the following link: on.IN.gov/reservedhunt

I got Luke's license taken care of today. Then I signed him up for the first weekend at Kingsbury FWA, and myself for the first 3 day block. Something different. Maybe we will be lucky and get picked. If not, we have a couple private spots to go.

Anybody try to sign up for an IPLA hunt? I can pick the county but not the specific property. Didn't know if anyone else had the same issue.

It done the same for me but the country I put in for is only allowing one property for draw. Thanks. I'm sure there's turkeys on all the properties in the county I'm looking at but I just didn't want my app to get thrown out for not choosing a specific one. I sent an email yesterday to the coordinator but haven't heard back yet.

The IPLA coordinator replied yesterday: "You are only able to choose a county and data window. You will be randomly assigned a property in that county if you are successful."

I got in for the first 3 day block at Kingsbury.
Luke did not get picked. But, I'm still gonna sign him up for the youth hunt there, so another chance awaits.

Nothing for me. They should have just left the IPLA stuff like it was last year.

Got drawn for the first hunt at big oaks. Anyone need a place to hunt and want to go? I put in for the hunt to take someone that has no other place to go. I can call if you are a new hunter or just tag along.
