I have a chance at a new Benelli Super Nova with a 28" barrel and in a grassy camo pattern. $575. Good deal or no?

Black can be had for (new) $550, camo add another $100-$125 Does it really cost that much for the dip material and labor? Make sure it has the comfort tech stock - that helps mitigate recoil. I shot a buddy's SBE first generation and without the comfort tech stock, shooting 1 3/8 oz and 1 1/2 oz loads was pretty tough on my shoulder (buttpad was pretty hard too). I needed to shoot 100 of them to get the gun broken in so it'd reliably shoot 1 oz to 1 1 /8 oz 1200 fps target loads (3 dram loads).

Honestly, I think the most responsible thing to do is get a separate choke tubes for my Mossberg 935 auto loader that I use for turkeys. I'll have to put on a new front sight.
This will save more money for ammo! Lol!

Responsible and waterfowl hunting mixes like oil and water.
I have owned several types of waterfowl guns. They all had good points and bad points. My favorite gun was the remington spartan. Originally a Baikal mp153 but imported and rebranded by reminton for a few years.
I have a nova. Not a pump gun fan but easy to maintain and a reliable gun. The ribs on the grip would rub a blister on my hand when shooting skeet. Not really an issue hunting though.
