WTF! with 3 laps left to go NBC Stopped all television coverage to go to the regular 5:00 news.
USA did the same.

The race finish on the USA channel here….. Larson won should been a Ford win but he ran out of fuel
Most seen the finish on USA channel not seeing many complain on social media about not seeing the finish.

Maybe I viewed some bad camera angles, but it looked like the in-person crowd was sparse.

Maybe I viewed some bad camera angles, but it looked like the in-person crowd was sparse. I was there Friday and Saturday the crowd was small but those there seemed to be enjoying themselves…. didn't hear anyone complaining about the attendance! |

They had a bunch of seats covered up and not available for purchase. Make it look like there’s more there then really is when they make them bunched up.

Right. They don’t want it looking even more sparse so they put all ticket sales together in certain sections knowing they can’t sell the places out. Makes sense.

Right. They don’t want it looking even more sparse so they put all ticket sales together in certain sections knowing they can’t sell the places out. Makes sense. Yeah most race fans don't go to a race to count the fans or to complain about who isn't there to watch… on track action is the Key point. That race hasn't sold out for a long time….The new owner does have it looking nice! |

I believe Indy is the largest race track in the world it would take a lot to sell it out for a stock car race.

Roger Penske addressed the media at IMS today. He revealed that ticket sales in the week leading up to the race are better than they have been in a decade or more. There will be a crowd of about 70,000 or more, with tickets sold up 20-25% compared to the 2019 race.
