O.K., HOW do you lose the WHOLE rear-end???
The pic of the rear-end did NOT have the driveshaft attached, nor were the U-Joints on it. WHAT? Aren't they put together just like the cars on the road, a slip joint in the tailshaft of the trans and bolted to the yoke of the rear-end?

So, if they get a penalty for a tire coming off, does he get 2 of those penalties?

Has a determination been made yet on why the whole rear axle left the vehicle?

Has a determination been made yet on why the whole rear axle left the vehicle? Here is all I could find.…Driver was complaining about excessive wheel hop before the problem occurred “The most likely scenario in this situation is that the welds failed towards the rear of the truck arms just ahead of the u-bolt mounting saddle that is labeled above. We can come to this conclusion because the recovered rear axle assembly still shows the u-bolt attached to the rear portion of the truck that includes that saddle area along with the shock.” www.theautopian.com/both-rear-wheels-of-marco-andrettis-race-car-separated-mid-race-how-is-this-possible/

TALLADEGA up next. 3 series in action. ARCA, Xfinity and Cup. Trucks have the weekend off. Should be a wild, fun weekend. Enjoy My youngest son and friends drove down yesterday to see the races. One friend the Harrisons is linked to a team, but not sure which one. The boys will be down on the track infield with that team. I'm sure it they will have a blast.

Looks like Hendricks is sponsoring Force now. Getting tired or NASCAR or just branching out?

Looks like Hendricks is sponsoring Force now. Getting tired or NASCAR or just branching out? I say it's safe to say they're in for the long haul with NASCAR, If they replaced Peak on Force’s car then that would be a story...just riding the bandwagon Tony started IMO Of course Team Chevy is also a factor…. Rick started HendrickCars.com for Larson when he came to Hendrick to drive the 5 car after his suspension from NASCAR….it has grown into something BIG now. Here is a statement from BrittanyForce
