Woweee..
That took some work didn't it?
I still don't have a clue as to why you had all that trouble.
But at least you are here now..
Post away Bob..

Woody the ONLY place to stay in Yellowstone is OLD FAITHFUL Lodge I truely hope you have booked a few nites there. Forget Devils Tower what a rip off. Also be sure to include Cody wy and the Winchester museum.
Now you are going to "my playground". The Notheast exit of Yellowstone, Cook City Montana is also awesome for som site seeing.

We are headed up north and will stop at the Mall of America (ladies request) and then cut across ND stopping at various sites. Then over into Montana stopping wherever - Custer - Little Bighorn, etc. We are staying 3 nights/4days in a lodge cabin on the "Slip, and Slide" Ranch in Gardiner Montana on the Northwest corner if Yellowstone.. From there we will drive to see the western portion of Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons. 2 nights and 3 days will be spent in Cody. Again in a cabin on the Bill Cody Ranch. From there we will take in the eastern portion of Yellowstone and all of Cody. Then on to Hill City SD where we will stay in another cabin at the High Country Ranch for 3 nights/4 days. We will try and see everything to see in the Black Hills and drop down to the Mammoth Dig.. We will catch Wall Drug and the Badlands on the way out of Rapid City heading east. A stopover in Mitchell to see the world famous "Corn Palace." We reserved cabins on ranches because after vacationing in time shares for the last 6 years motel rooms just don't cut it anymore. Splitting the cost with another couple gets the price down to motel level and we can save some money on food by doing a little cooking - if we can talk the wives into it. Thanks for the information

Woody:
The Grand Canyon of Yellowstone is a must see. Beartooth pass from Cook City to Billings is an awesome drive towards Cody, you have to drop south from there but it is way cool.

Got to dissagree with you on Devil's Tower JB. I would not drive from here to there to see it again but if I were in the area I would have to stop again. Wish I had what it takes to climb that sucker. We took our tent and air mattresses. Spent about a third of the time in the tent and the rest in motels and B&Bs. Tented the BadLands, Spearfish canyon, Jackson Hole, the campground just inside Yellowstone from Gardiner and one night at Glasier. Wow what a trip. From there went on the B.C., Washington and Oregon but used motels and B&Bs for the rest of the trip. I know you will enjoy it and now I'm starting to get envious.
