Big Valley meat Processing (or Bob from Old Pleasant School) is located on 900 South. The road is called 900 south if traveling west from Cross Plains and it is called either 925 or 950 South if traveling east from 421. If traveling North from Madison it is the last road on the right before reaching Rexville and if you continue on past the meat locker it will bring you out on 129 right across from Otters Grocery in Cross Plains. I live just a couple miles away. I usually butcher my own but if I don't have time I run mine up to him. His summer sausage is comparable to Rihms in Cambridge City.

No his building is new they weren't actually all the way done with it when he started butchering during slug season last year. His old place at Pleasant has or did have a resturaunt in it.

Still has a restaurant there, darned good food at a reasonable price. Had a great catfish lunch there about 3 weeks ago while on a depredation hunt. Always take time to eat there several times during gun season.

There is a fella in Canaan, IN that is also opening up a deer processing operation this season. You can follow the signs to his place on Hwy 250 between Pleasant and Madison. His telephone number is: 812/ 839-3696. He said he will also be a state deer check-in station as well.
