I have a buddies rifle here to run some loads through on paper and see if it's sighted in. It has a Pulsar Trail 2 LRF scope on it. All I can say is WOW! For the heck of it I looked out in the winter wheat field behind the house last night and I could see 2 coons at about 275 yds. If they were coyotes, I could have popped them VERY easily. It has a laser rangefinder, camera (with video) and zoom magnification all built into the scope. Then I looked on-line at the price of the scope. Again, another WOW! I called him and had to ask about it and he said that he picked the scope AND rifle up for less than half the price of the scope alone.

I know a guy at work got one and I know he said it was around $4k! That’s not even including the rifle. Sure be nice, but never happen for me.

Thermal is defiantly the way to go, but for now I will have to stick with a night vision scope and a hand held thermal scanner.
