Met at the Patoka NWR office with the manager, Rep. Ellsworth, a DU rep, an Audubon rep, a local wetland construction professional, and a few others with the goal of educating our representative on the need for him to ask for "our piece of the pie" in federal money given to national refuges.
I think the conversation went real well, and i think he realizes its not a trade for a vote type thing its just someone needs to ask for the money. Patoka NWR is a great resource we have here in southern indiana - for all types of hunting, recreation, fishing and even bird watching.
