I don't know how many of you all hunt on Hovey Lake property, but thought I would share our sightings from last evening.
We saw 15 total, all does and fawns. There were 2 single does(at least we could not see a fawn), 5 nice mature does that either had a single fawn or twins. All the little ones are still in spots. The does are looking a little rough right now. To my surprise they are starting to loose their summer coat. One had already trned almost grey from the normal summer red.
If you could not tell I am itching for bow season this year. Got my new Drenalin sighted in and ready to go....
