I am watching a pair of eagles close to the goosepond fish and wildlife area in Greene county, they have a nest on private property and I hope they raise young this year. I never thought we would have eagles in this area, the new wetlands has really helped the wildlife.

We've seen too many to count along the wabash just a few miles north of you. It's always a treat to see them.

Beehunter, Ive seen those same eagles. Once last year, and once this year. Last year they were perched in a tree just off the north edge of the goosepond property. This year I seen one in a ditch off of baseline road eating road kill. When I stopped to veiw it, the other one flew over the top of the truck and landed in a nearby tree. I have also sighted one on the west side of the goosepond property, one at hawethorn, and one by the gun club. May be the same ones but they seem to be spotted quite often anymore.

There was just an article in the Seymour paper about them. At Starve Hollow they lowered the water and they said there were 17 plus out there feeding on the shade. That was before all the ice though

We have a pair in brown county and they like to come down through the lakes and snatch up ducks. They have also taken a few peoples cats.

Lake Monroe has a ton of eagles that live on the reservoir. It's always cool to see them buzzing around and chasing coots.

My neighbor has one that roosts in a big dead tree in his WRP impoundment. It's chased off or eaten all the wood ducks.
