well hunters what are the deer reports from the jennings co area ? i myself have saw some deer but have not taken one yet not really waiting for the big one but the circumstances was not in my favor . i have saw some pics. of some nice deer . was opening weekend bad or good for you?

i live in Jennings Co but hunt in Jefferson Co. I have seen a lot of does about 6 or 8 each time i go out but other than opening morning i havn't seen a buck since, he was a very nice 8 pointer that i was hoping my son would take, but he didn't. He had some big time buck fever.LOL

I've seen a lot of deer in Scott County, except during the day since the weather heated back up.

A guy told me there is a processor over there who charges by the pound to do deer. Do you guys know who it is and where they are. I think he said 70 cents a lb on meat that you get back.

i think the place you are talking about is corbin christian ranch as i know it and it is out by the shooting range on crosely . but dont hold me too that . not sure about their work either but someone did tell me that they leave the bone in it when they process .
