Participated in the still water hunt the last weekend of early duck and shot my first woody. Thinking about getting it mounted, they’ve always been my favorite duck and never seen them at the other properties I hunt. Anyone else into duck mounts? Have any recommendations in the Bloomington area? Thanks

They are amazingly beautiful birds. I have no doubt that you will ever regret having that mounted. I’m from north central IN, so can’t help you with a taxidermist. Well done!

Hoosier Trapper Supply in Greenwood Lienarchers in Washington
I am sure I misspelled both, but they are both good with birds.
There are some excellent taxidermist out of state that duck hunters mail the bird to. I forget who any more but I have known more than 1 or 2 guys go that route and not be disappointed.

I took mine to a guy in Louisville. If I remember tonight I'll look for his card.

There is a guy in Worthington that has done some for me. I can get you his number if interested.
