I live in Perry county and I can tell ya were overrun with deer, turkeys,Coyotes and almost any other kind of wildlife you can name!On an average drive to town we see 6 to 10 deer and 4 or 5 turkeys almost ever time....Iv live in 4 county's in southern Indiana and while they all had lots of wildlife Perry is by far the best.I am blessed to live in such a game rich area of the state and have 4 youngins to hunt with me.Hows the wildlife in your neck of the woods?

How many turkeys have you killed out of Perry county in recent years Chucker? I think Harrison has better turkey hunting, wouldn't you agree?

I live in Warrick CO and just recently got a job in Perry, just north of Tell City and I dont think there has been a day yet that i havent seen numerous deer and turkey on the way to and from work. Many days I have seen them on the property where I work.
I actually saw my first Bobcat ever this past Thursday. I was driving East on HW 70 between Newtonville and Troy and there was a good sized one about 80yds off the N side of the HW in a cut cornfield. Not sure if that is actually Perry or Spencer Co though.

3PT, the bobcat was in Spencer Co. Hwy 70 doesn't make it to Perry. I know the area you are talking about. Just to the North off of 70 there is a Elk and Buffalo farm. You should check it out when you have time.
BG75, all kinds of ground to hunt in Perry. Hoosier National Forrest, matter a fact. Several acres to stomp all over.
