yeah we have them in Perry too. My wife and I have both seen them and my neighbor got a picture of one on a trail camera and they published it the local paper. I heard that they are off the endangered species list now but are still protected .

The bobcat was caught about 75 yards from a coyote. Makes you wonder which was caught first. Two parts of the write up were wrong. They called me Dan instead of Don and I WASN"T the guy who caught it. I'm a nuisance wildlife control operator and the CO called to see if I could go down to help release it. Gary Ripperdan was the trapper. When released it just stepped back about 6 feet and set down. It set there for about 10 minutes and after a nudge from the plywood that I used to release him with, he took off. No damage to the foot-great looking animal.

I'd like to see that article, but I refuse to read that rag until they call it the Corydon Republican.

I got a picture of a bobcat on my trail cam from Martin county earlier this year and have had several other sightings. Sightings are becoming more common all the time, at least in my area. A local biologist I talked to recently seemed to think that we would have a bobcat season in some form within the next five years.

Hey trophyhunter1, was that the same cat that came running up to the back porch of the cabin every time he smelled donuts across the road from you?
